Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for a Middleware Support Engineer in a remote capacity. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for set up, execution, and troubleshooting of Trading Partner/client infrastructure components including accounts, scripts, settings, notifications, builds, etc.
  • Manage and maintain the creation and testing of new and existing enterprise data transfers, including but not limited to use of standard EDI file formats, proprietary eligibility, and auto-registration file formats
  • Understanding and ability to manage project work via SAFe Methodology
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the internal personnel, clients, and TPA/Vendors in all Data Movement matters
  • Close interaction with Application areas, Change Management, OCC, Server Support, and Project teams
  • Maintain and adhere to EDI and file transfer security compliance standards; including but not limited to: HIPAA, PII, PCI, etc.
  • Troubleshooting of incidents/issues caused by performance, application, and/or infrastructure; as well as customer/client reported issues, service requests, and/or changes
  • Provide timely completion and/or resolution to requests and technical support issues, providing Root Cause Analysis where applicable
  • Provide 24X7 on-call support for all production environments, rotational pre-scheduled basis
  • Identify and implement continual process improvement opportunities and automation development
Qualifications:
  • 2-5 Years’ Experience in data movement/file transfer process, preferably in the Healthcare Industry
  • Experience in one or more of the following technologies:
    • TCP/IP File Transfer Protocols: HTTPS, FTP, SSH/SFTP, AS2, AS3
    • Connect: Direct, Connect: Direct Secure+ (Plus)
    • Security and Encryption Protocols: AES, 3DES, PGP, SSL/TLS, etc.
    • SQL and Oracle knowledge/proficiency (Plus)
  • Experience in one or more of the following tools/software:
    • IBM Sterling {B2B} File Gateway Application Suite
    • Axway Managed File Transfer Application Suite
    • MS Office; including MS Access and Visio
    • Service Now Workflow Management system
    • Jira AGILE Planning software
    • SQL Developer (Plus)
  • General understanding of one or more of the following operating systems:
    • Windows
    • Unix
    • Linux (RedHat a plus)
