Description
We require an experienced Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Engineer who is highly skilled at implementing PKI services within the constraints imposed by highly controlled environments.
Whilst this role is aimed at those with PKI implementation skills, an appreciation of the business impacts of PKI and the relevant service elements is expected.
The PKI Engineer will be expected to implement PKI software and hardware components under the direction of the PKI SME in accordance with established design patterns.
This will include development of low-level design/integration specifications and associated test scripts.
The PKI Engineer will be expected to have a good understanding of the technologies and their application and should recognize the associated benefits and potential pitfalls.
They should be able to specify practical, cost-effective working processes that get the best out of the technology.
This professional will have the following core responsibilities:
• PKI subject matter expert to implement PKI requirements, architecture, design, implementation and operations
• Review of large PKI implementation with hundreds of domains and certificate chains with third-party PKI products.
• Review PKI technology designs with GTS architects and engineers, focusing on security design, network architectures, security policies and standards, cybersecurity risk frameworks & data protection, taking local and regional regulatory requirements into account (e.g. residency & privacy)
 • Work with Cybersecurity, GTS Shared Services teams and member firms on practical implementation of PKI architectures and capabilities
• Investigate, design and architect specific PKI cybersecurity controls as they are identified and required
In addition to the above, the following will be required:
• Willingness to learn the specific requirements required in China due to unique in-country regulations
• Communicate and oversee technical implementations of all security solutions/services required to meet business objectives
• Closely collaborate with Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering teams and other global technology teams to help develop technical roadmaps Assist with the implementation and translation of information security policies
• Establish effective working relationships across various Global line of business and member firm security & IT leaders to understand their business requirements to help execute their business strategy
• Work in partnership with the Security Assessment Services and Global Business Services teams whenever necessary to ensure IT solutions being designed in accordance with industry standard and internally defined architectural security standards and policies |

Experience in PKI components expertise such as:
