Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for a Sr. Merger/Acquisition Project Manager in a remote capacity. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities:
  • To actively drive the implementation and execution of Merger, Acquisition, and Divestiture project deliverables defined in a charter while ensuring the budget, scope, schedule, risk and quality meet specific success criteria
  • To ensure that key stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the life cycle of the effort
  • Defining, estimating, and scheduling project tasks, deliverable, and interdependencies to achieve the scope through a clearly defined project plan/work breakdown structure that is built with the team
  • Identify project resource requirements and work closely with Integration Management Office/project sponsor/stakeholders to ensure adequately skilled resources are available to deliver on project commitments
  • Working closely with cross company, divisional, functional, and highly technical resources - leading the conversation with all levels of the organization holding resources accountable for delivering on the project plan, including providing coaching and mentoring of resources
  • Developing and maintaining project artifacts and records, as well as identifying and tracking key measures of success for the project
  • Analyzing project performance and identifying solutions that enhance the colleague experience with minimal to no abrasion
  • Identifying, documenting, and ensuring resolution of issues and risks with potential to impact success of project
  • Escalating project status with clear risk, issues, tradeoffs and future plans to Integration Management Office/Project sponsor and stakeholders
Qualifications:       
  • 7 to 10 years’ IT program management experience is preferred
  • Having experience in leading efforts related to one or more of the following is a plus:
    • Endpoint platform, build, and management
    • Hardware, software asset management practice
    • Email
    • Cross Company Application Access
    • Citrix
    • Mobile Devices
  • Skilled to manage multiple high impact enterprise wide M&A and/or Divestiture projects and satisfy requirements from multiple customers/stakeholders
  • Equally strong in planning, executing and closing of projects. As well as superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt in high paced, challenging, changing and ambiguous situations
  • Attention to details, ability to drive results and act independently with little direction
  • The ability to quickly understand concepts and drill down into actionable steps- solid understanding of project management tools, techniques, request acceptance criteria, artifact development and reporting
  • Strong working knowledge of SDLC and methodologies like; Agile and Waterfall, as well as office, Visio, Project and SharePoint
  • High level of organization skills, which includes, standing up and forming teams, identifying stakeholders, arranging/managing meetings and follow-ups
  • Ability to navigate day-to-day activities and look into the bigger picture to identify risks and issues proactively
