We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer, working with Integration Services. This is a dynamic, agile software delivery team that provides an enterprise-level integration platform and contributes to a mission-critical set of applications. The ideal candidate will need to be a technology leader who can take defined requirements and deliver a solution through acceptance while collaborating with all software delivery disciplines on the team. There would be opportunity to mentor junior developers as product builds take shape and a chance to help us stretch our technical horizons as we refine best practices and incorporate new technology.
This position can 100% Remote from any US location. Travel up to 5% for team meetings is required.
What you’ll be responsible for:- Completes product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification and resolution.
- Performs system analysis and programming activities which may require extensive research and analysis.
- Provides technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery until the retirement of the application.
- Ensures timely, effective, and quality delivery of software into production, both at an individual and team level.
- Collaboratively works with QA team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Collaboratively works with customer support team to resolve or diagnose defects.
- Performs release validation testing and beta support for projects.
- Researches problems and develops solutions to the problems.
- Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
- Assists in training and mentoring less experienced peers.
- May contribute to product architecture.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:- Must have 4 years of experience with Microsoft .NET/C# development.
- Must have experience with .NET Core.
- Must have experience with web services (e.g. SOAP, XML, REST, and/or JSON).
- Must have experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Must have experience with a version control system such as TFS source control or GIT.
What would be nice for you to have:- Experience with MS Azure or other cloud technologies.
- Experience with any of the following: Docker, kubernetes, Azure Technologies, MongoDB, Redis, Hashicorp Consul and Vault, Istio, Octopus Deploy, Ansible, Terraform
- Experience in Agile SDLC environments.
- Experience with Identity Management solutions using OpenID Connect/Auth 2.0. Products like Okta and/or frameworks like IdentityServer4 and Duende.
- Experience with Visual Studio 2015 or higher.
