Conexess Group is aiding a large St. Louis, MO based healthcare client in their search for a local IT Business Analyst. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.

  • Delivers specific delegated tasks assigned by the Go To Market Manager in the IT Application Development job family using research and fact-finding activities combined with an understanding of applicable business operations, information technology, and industry requirements
  • Formulates, supports, and interprets business requirements and effectively communicates them to IT engineering organizations
  • Initiates capability assessments, creates or modifies documentation in preparation for technical engineering teams' intake of complex business requirements, initiates and facilitates engagement, and mitigates or raises risks to meeting timelines
  • Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary
  • Assists in ideation, requirements interpretation, technology engineering intake, decompositions and execution
  • Elicits, collects and documents information for problem identification by appropriate subject matter experts
  • Assists with creating or updating standard operating procedures
  • Four (4)-year college degree plus five (5) years of lead business systems analysis experience preferred or 8+ years of performing as a lead business systems analyst or technical product owner
  • Performs as a highly effective Agile team member capable of driving strategic technology initiatives from intake through implementation
  • Uses appropriate techniques to secure alignment from key stakeholders on requirements, existing and new technology capabilities, and drive engagement
  • Possess a keen awareness to the changing climate can readily refocus and pivot to support reprioritized or new work while supporting or transitioning in-flight work
  • High degree of forecasting abilities and reporting skills bringing accomplishments, planned work, and risks forward using appropriate communication style, tools, and formats 
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL data mining 
  • Ability to read interpret business intelligence analytics reports
