We are working with a premium beverage company that is looking to fill a remote high level marketing position. This is an exciting opportunity with a company who values people first, whether its focus is on sustainability or fair employee practices.
This role is responsible for leading organization’s marketing strategy, development and implementation to strengthen the brand in the market place. The VP of Marketing will focus on data-driven, cross functional strategies in customer & consumer marketing. Strategic Programs may include – go to market planning, sales enablement, product planning, advertising, social media, DTC program development and demand planning.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Define, develop, and integrate clear product positioning and messaging globally that differentiates our products and resonates with target market segments
  • Use customer insight data, competitive analyses and other market data to accelerate brand awareness and dominance
  • Create and track optimal ROI of brand activations to ensure the right spend on the right strategies and pivot when necessary
  • Actively participate in the sales process and bring the marketing lens to assure ongoing alignment between marketing and sales on how to deliver against customer needs and objectives
  • Partner with cross functional teams on product launches and partner integration to drive brand awareness and demand
  • Participate in the strategic planning process; facilitate department and company wide adoption of strategic initiatives and deliver performance measures to support the strategy
  • Partner with Executive Team and all departments to improve corporate efficiency; drive sales & savings; cultivate a company culture focused on team
  • Responsible for coaching, developing and advancing marketing team members with a focus on best in-class marketing capabilities, bench strength and growth
  • Invests in and is an example of company values in environmental, social, and corporate governance components
  • Responsible for holding high standards of food safety

Required Skills/Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field. MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of CPG industry experience CPG food/beverage is a must
  • Previous experience coaching, mentoring a marketing team
  • Solid background with go-to-marketing planning, sales enablement, product planning, advertising, social media, field marketing and demand generation
