We are working with a premium beverage company that is looking for a sales leader to report to their Executive VP of Business Development. This is an exciting opportunity with a company who values people first, whether its focus is on sustainability or fair employee practices.
The VP of Sales is a remote role that will develop and define the overall sales plan and tactics for organic and new market growth.  Must have a food/beverage CPG sales background, be a strong mentor and servant leader while living by company values.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Drives alignment of sales team with company strategy, vision and priorities
  • Lead, coach and mentor entire sales team including directors of key accounts, retail sales and new channel development
  • Set strategic sales initiatives and drive customer pipeline with a data driven approach, including visible forecasting with existing and new business
  • Set clear future strategy and vision to dominate with new channels, products and brands
  • Champion of sales strategy, team and results with key customers, boards members, executive and cross functional team

Required Skills/Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field. MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 10 experience with CPG sales in the food industry
  • Previous experience coaching and mentoring a sales team
  • Must have authentic leadership abilities
  • Must have strong critical thinking skills
  • Ideal candidate has strong humility and is a long-term visionary
