Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for an IBM Business Automation Workflow Engineer in a remote capacity. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for Administration and configuration of IBM BAW (Business Automation Workflow) on different platforms such as Linux/AIX and Windows
  • Perform troubleshooting IBM BAW (Business Automation Workflow) incidents
  • Provide process management and technical leadership for a team of Middleware and Integration product systems administration, level 3 product engineering, product maintenance installation, and customer service request delivery
  • Responsible for IBM BAW (Business Automation Workflow) product support and administration to enterprise standards, delivering upon service request and incident service level agreements, and ensuring the stability and integrity of the middleware infrastructure production environments
  • Interact with application and diverse infrastructure teams, identifying application impacts, interface design and technical specification design documentation
  • Lead engineering projects, technical training and mentoring for implementation of solutions and roll outs
  • Developing automation for testing and applying the middleware product patches and version upgrades
  • Lead migration and upgrade paths for IBM BAW, applying patches and installing service packs.
  • Develop automation for middleware product builds, installation and configuration of application resources and performing support routines
  • Responsible for Middleware Product Engineering of IBM BAW
  • Responsible for Middleware Infrastructure server availability and security
  • Responsible for Agility and Service Delivery
  • Responsible for developing automation for the below and providing self-service capabilities for delivery and middleware support teams
Qualifications:
  • Experience within a large-scale or global enterprise, core competencies with installation/configuration of IBM BAW (Business Automation Workflow), formerly known as IBM BPM (Business Process Management) base product framework. Minimum of 3 years hands on experience with IBM BAW infrastructure engineering (18.x/19.x preferred)
  • Six months to one year experience with Middleware support (Any one of- Apache, Tomcat, JBOSS, IIS, WebSphere, or Weblogic)
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture
  • Proficiency with Ansible (Ansible Tower) or in one or more programming languages for automation: i.e Java, Python
  • Oracle and SQL experience
  • Excellent understanding of integration with third party APIs (Web services, JSON, REST, XML etc.)
  • Proficiency in development and deployment using WAS and/or Jboss EAP
