Join this well respected UCaaS and Telecom company as Manager of Strategic Sales Engineering.
This position will lead a team of strategic solutions engineers, by developing and executing functional strategies to achieve key business objectives. Responsible for owning the pre-sales practice direction and purpose, setting and monitoring team goals, and clarifying department expectations, owning process and execution to ensure quality customer experiences. Pro-actively develop and maintain a team of high-performing solution engineers. Continually seek innovative methods for improving team performance and profitability.
Works jointly with the sales organization to create territory plans based on industry trends and company standards.
Support unit sales plan through pre-sales and/or post-sales technical consulting.
Directs a group of Directors/Managers, including identifying & hiring the best candidates and developing the existing team.
Direct the team that performs:
  • All pre-sales technical support in sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Designing, configuration, activation, and onboarding of the company’s value-added services.
  • Works with marketing and product management to define new products.
  • Business case development to ensure project parameters and profitability meet corporate defined goals.
  • Maintaining and/or establishing relationships throughout the customer organizations and becoming a valued member of the customer’s strategic planning efforts.
Ensure the appropriate resources are allocated to support unit sales efforts and deployment of value-add products.
Sets long-term strategic goals and helps shape the future of the Commercial Sales organization.
Represent Company Communications
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in experience and a minimum of 10 years of applicable experience with at least 5 years demonstrable managerial experience.
Advanced degree in Computer Science, telecommunications & networking, or Information Systems or equivalent work experience
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Adtran, Juniper, etc. along with the appropriate certifications (e.g.) CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CCSE, GCFW, CISSP, JNCIS-FWV, GCIH, CompTIA Security+, GIAC Security Essentials, PCCSA, PCNSA, or PCNSE etc.
