We are sourcing for project within the Department of Defense to provide a wide range of skills and expertise to perform technology development, testing, integration of hardware and software applications, and associated documentation and training.
The Test Engineer will provide the development of laboratory test setups to validate functions and required parameters of custom and standard radios, antennas, power supplies, and other supporting circuitry. It is also the responsibility of the Test Engineer to develop automated test routines using LabView (or similar), Python, and other custom scripts to test performance and parameters of RF modules, antennas, and analog and digital circuitry. Develop concise documentation of test results.
The Test Engineer should be able to utilize Embedded software in both Linux kernel mode and user mode. They should possess the ability to configure and monitor network gear (channels, virtual router, private networks, etc.) Experience with developing and using automated testing would be beneficial. The Test Engineer should be able to perform formal system testing activities, support of user requirements for simple to moderately complex software/hardware applications, executes defined test cases and procedures as detailed in the test documentation.

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field (substitute for additional equivalent years of experience)
- 5+ years of experience as a test engineer or in a related field
- Proficient in understanding and modifying electrical schematics and layouts
- Proficient in test plan development of custom and standard electrical assemblies
- Custom Radios

- Proficient in test parameter identification of custom and standard electrical circuitry and assemblies
