Director of Sales – Western Region

Summary:

We are working with a natural food company that designs, prepares, produces healthy food that is looking for a Director of Western Sales. This role is for a goal-oriented, motivated, and passionate Sales leader. The Director of Sales will make an immediate impact on the company! Please apply if interested!

Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Executing market strategy that will accelerate business growth in natural & conventional channels
  • Drive business growth by working with customers
  • Motivate our broker team
  • Build relationships with key customers & distributors at all levels of their organization
  • Plan promotional calendars for accounts – while staying within trade spending
  • Maximize sales efforts through new customer acquisition, expand distribution with existing customers, & maximizing trade efficiency across all customers
  • Develop sales decks using data & trend info that tell a compelling story
  • Create a new item launch plan for respective customers
  • Analyze and interpret data to understand business trends
  • Communicate trends in the market and channel to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop programs that will drive in store sales
  • Attend sales meeting & trade shows

 

Required Skills/Qualifications (including but not limited to):

 

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Ideal candidate will have a blend of large food CPG account management experience
  • 6+ years’ experience in CPG sales (key account/regional/territory sales) with progressive levels of experience
  • 4+ years’ experience in natural category
  • Proven track records in meeting and exceeding sales goals & maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Strong leadership skills with a solid business acumen
  • Strong follow through – identify and resolves problems in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Effective communication and collaboration with managers
  • Builds and maintains professional relationships
  • Prepares for and manages change
