Summary:  The Director of Marketing is in charge of developing and implementing a proper marketing and communication strategy within the company. The purpose of this strategy is to determine and support permanent business growth and to ensure brand equity and awareness within the society. The VP of Marketing handles all marketing activities in order to fulfill the company's sales, growth and profitability.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
 
  • Plan, organize and manage all the marketing activities for the organization.
  • Establish, develop and implement the company's marketing strategies.
  • Manage all staff and external marketing vendors.
  • Develop and implement new communication ideas, proposals and strategies.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on web based, mobile and social media marketing.
  • Formulate and implement the marketing policies and objectives within the company.
  • Create and develop strategies for promoting and marketing the Colleges.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with all the staff from the marketing department.
  • Participate in conferences, national fairs and other marketing related events.
  • Oversee marketing communication including branding, public relations, advertising and other marketing materials for external and internal use.
  • Define and coordinate marketing programs for corporate and all campuses.
  • Make and sustain presentations, sales training and product launch.
  • Develop and handle marketing annual budget and plan.
  • Coordinate and evaluate market research.
  • Meet customer's needs and fulfill their demands.
  • Maintain long term relationships with business partners, clients and company staff
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
Master's Degree in one of these fields: Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Advertising, Public Relations or Sales.  Also, at least 8 to 10 years of previous experience in sales or advertising and coordinating a team are mandatory. Experience is the most important aspect taken into consideration for this position.
 
Travel Requirement:
Travel expectation is 20%
 
Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
 
Mathematical Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
 
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
 
Computer Skills:
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Outlook, and Word) and data entry.
