We are looking to add a Sales Development Representative (SDR).  SDR will play a critical role as we continue to build out our sales and marketing engine to support our fast-growing business. The primary focus is to drive outbound efforts to identify net new client opportunities and revenue. You will work closely with marketing to support campaigns, manage the lead flow, qualifying buying interest, and cultivating opportunity in targeted lists. You will also coordinate closely with the sales teams to support prospecting activities to secure a sufficient flow of qualified opportunities.

You must be an independent self-starter that can manage your schedule on a daily basis to meet the daily workflow requirements and metrics.

The SDR very often has the initial (and therefore most important) opportunity to make an impression on a prospect so you will be responsible for ensuring a positive experience that will set the stage for effective sales follow-up. Driving excitement, creativity, and relationship building into every customer call is crucial. A successful candidate will be ambitious, with a high-energy, positive phone presence, and a track record of effective, credible lead follow-up and sales development at multiple levels within an organization.

What your day will look like:

  • 90% emails, plus a few phone calls to establish and cultivate appointments for sales people

  • Coordinate appointments for sales team

  • Use various tools (spreadsheet/database/CRM) to track marketing, sales and revenue metrics

  • Optimize Hubspot CRM tool

  • Communicate the HR Collaborative suite of services

  • Assist in development and execution of outbound marketing campaigns

  • Meet or exceed metrics

What we are looking for in the right candidate:

  • 1-2 years experience preferably inside sales experience helpful but not required

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (HR, Marketing, Communications, Business)

  • Personable, dynamic, energetic and ambitious personality, able to establish quick relationships

  • Alluring, succinct writing skills. Able to easily connect with a few words over email

  • Organized person with strong time management skills

  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Gmail, HubSpot preferred)

  • Tenacious follow up and strong work ethic

  • Professional phone presence

  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills. Focus on a win-win strategy

  • Numbers driven and analytical

  • Can work in a start-up environment and should be able to handle change quickly and effectively

  • Technology savvy
