Over the past 17 years, Worksighted has grown to be one of West Michigan’s leading Information Technology consulting firms. We deliver comprehensive IT solutions that frequently involve multiple technical disciplines operating simultaneously and often touching the entire client organization.

Our organization is growing and we are currently looking for a Support Desk Engineer to join our team. The Support Desk Engineer is responsible for monitoring customer support requests to our help desk and responding to assigned requests.

How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Monitor incoming customer support requests in our client ticket ticketing system.
  • Work closely with the Engineering Scheduler for scheduling and ticket routing.
  • Remote technical troubleshooting and repair of PC and Server systems.
  • Work with customer via phone, email and remote access.
  • Work closely with other support team members to provide clients with the most comprehensive support experience.
  • Provide ongoing notes and time tracking for issues worked.
  • Engage in project based assignments on an as needed basis as determined by skill set and overall alignment with a given project as determined by the Project Manager.

What You’ll Need To Succeed:

  • Undergraduate degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3- 5 years of IT support experience.
  • Microsoft Server 2003/R2, 2008/R2, 2012, Windows 7, 8,10.
  • Cisco firewall and router experience is a must.
  • VMWare Vsphere 5/6
