The Cultural Intelligence Center, an innovative, research-based consulting and training company is seeking a Client Services Coordinator at our Grand Rapids, Michigan location to provide informative, helpful customer service for all customers, and to provide administrative and day-to-day support to the company’s corporate segment and certification programs.

The Cultural Intelligence Center (CQC) is a small (but growing!) company that is changing the way individuals and organizations are approaching diversity and global engagement. Our assessments, training programs, and consulting services are valued by clients from Harvard University, Goldman Sachs, and the Department of Defense, to many small and medium sized businesses. Based in Michigan, our international team of employees includes trainers, consultants, and researchers providing state of the art services that make a real difference in people’s lives.

How you will spend your day:

Customer Support

  • Serve as first point of contact with current and potential clients, guiding them to the appropriate team member to best handle their needs (email, phone, etc.) and/or resolving customer complaints
  • Manage inquiries and communication in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for customer follow-up, etc. (data-entry, monitor follow-through, etc.
  • Provide basic technical support for customers using online portal (assist with assessment set- ups, trouble shoot client issues, forward client concerns to appropriate individuals)

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for programs and activities within the corporate segment (e.g. travel arrangements, material coordination, meetings, organizing sessions, etc.
  • General office errands and support (mail, bank, shipping, materials, etc.)

Certification Sales and Follow-Up

  • Provide detailed information to individuals seeking information about certification program
  • Manage follow-up of all certification prospects directly or via other team members
  • Registrations and communication with registered participants
  • Follow-up with individuals who have completed certification to assist with implementation

What we will need from you…

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and experience working in a fast-paced, multicultural office environment
  • 3+ years’ work experience including customer service background with ability to resolve customer complaints
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, web-based interfaces, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Project and Time Management, Reporting Skills, Professionalism, Administrative Writing Skills, Managing Processes, Verbal Communication, Problem-Solving.
