Founded in 1987, Siliconature is a leading international supplier of siliconized and treated films for both standard and custom applications. With production sites in Italy, Asia and our new Grand Rapids, Michigan site to open in 2018, we can locally supply our global standard products.

Siliconature is offering a unique opportunity for an ambitious Account Manager to start their journey in Chicago, IL to learn the customer base and product before moving with our team to Grand Rapids, MI. We are looking for a customer-oriented, motivated individual to add to our growing sales team. Read on to see if this is the role for you.

In this role you will:

  • Learn more about the products and markets while working closely with the sales team in Chicago.
  • Travel frequently to an established customer base in North America.
  • Have the opportunity to expand your territory greatly by selling our innovative product.
  • Plan and develop new stock orders and production for recurring businesses with the Sales Support team in the US and Italy.
  • Expand the customer base as you respond to web inquiries and incoming sales leads.
  • Help resolve any complaints or issues that customers may have.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Associate’s degree in Business or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a customer-based, client-facing business.
  • Dynamic and highly driven attitude with the ability to communicate well with others.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to drive relationship building and foster excellent customer relationships.
  • Motivation to meet with customers and troubleshoot technical issues. We need someone who can problem solve analytically. 
  • High-energy work ethic with ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time.
  • Experience working with a CRM is a plus.
