We have an excellent full-time career opportunity for a Materials Testing Technician in our Prescott regional office. Western Technologies Inc. offers on-going training and the ability to gain valuable career experience and technical certifications.

What you will do:

·       Test and inspect construction materials such as soils, concrete, masonry, and hot mix asphalt for quality control/quality assurance in laboratory and construction job sites.

·       Prepare daily reports on observation activities.

·       Document test results and test data for accuracy and completeness.

·       Assist project managers and engineers with various assignments

Two to four years’ experience in construction or materials testing is preferred.

Nice to have but not required:

·       ATTI Asphalt, Soil, and Aggregate Base materials

·       ACI Concrete Field or Lab Technician

·       NICET or ICC / ICBO in reinforced concrete or masonry

Good math and written communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail, is required. Must be an active team player, have clean motor vehicle driving record and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
