The User Experience Designer Role
The User Experience Designer must be a strong application designer with the ability to push the technologies of the web to support the requirements of financial applications. We are looking for a UX generalist with skills ranging from research and usability testing to wireframes and visual design.  Working with the Product Managers, Software Developers, Sales Team and Customers, the User Experience Designer will work to create an intuitive and cohesive user experience for the company's products.  The ideal candidate is a quick study, self starter and excellent communicator with a track record of guiding the user experience effort for commerical software. 
•    Work closely with cross-functional teams to create simple, easy to use financial services web portals and desktop applications
•    Lead brainstorming sessions with project teams and stakeholders
•    Initiate, suggest and lead major UI re-factorings for more intuitive UX 
•    Advocate for usability and consistency across the company's products
•    Organize and perform usability sessions with key stakeholders and customers 
•    Deliverables include artifacts that communicate product vision (storyboards, screen layouts, wireframes, etc.), workflow diagrams, interactive prototypes, and production quality graphical elements
•    Must have a compelling portfolio of recent UI/UX work showing strong application design
•    3+ years designing user experiences for interactive Web applications, preferably within the financial services industry
•    Must flourish in an iterative development environment, working on multiple projects simultaneously
•    Comfortable coordinating stakeholders' requirements to arrive at actionable design proposals
•    Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills 
•    Expertise in current trends in design patterns and information visualization 
•    Expertise in  web technologies such as HTML 5, CSS3, JavaScript
•    Degree in Graphic Design, User Interface Design, or  Human Computer Interaction preferred
