Job Description:  Data Operations Analyst (Temporary position), Payrate: $20-$22/hr

This is an open-ended position

The Data Operations Analyst is primarily responsible for maintaining the data integrity of Toshiba’s customer data within Oracle TCA Registry.

This position reports to Manager, Business Intelligence
  • Assist with the creation of new accounts, account name and address updates, contacts maintenance, account relationships, account deactivations, and account consolidation
  • Gather and enter missing data; perform secondary research to fill data gap
  • Conduct data quality checks, evaluate inconsistencies, raise issues, and recommend solutions or improvements to ensure data compliance
  • Develop, document, and maintain data quality goals and standards
  • Work closely with other team members to identify and resolve data related issues, trends and standards
  • Document and evaluate existing business processes and systems to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and consistency
  • Assist in the development and implementation of department best practices
  • Gain an understanding of how systems/processes interact
  • Assist in the implementation and/or serve as a project coordinator for select Operations initiatives
  • Develop overall understanding of high level business process interactions between departments
  • 4-year college degree
  • 2+ years experience working as a Business Analyst or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills to guide projects and initiatives
  • Ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels and work well within a team
  • Good problem-solving capabilities with data management and continuous process improvement
  • Strong customer-facing interface capability
  • Self-starter with ability to work in a fast paced environment with excellent follow-through skills
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills
  • Experience with Oracle Apps (TCA), Salesforce.com data or QlikView
  • Strong Access skills
