Marketing Account Manager 
 
In this mission-critical position, you will have the opportunity to manage the execution of projects from start to finish. You will interface with your national account as well as our internal departments to ensure quality, on-time completion of each marketing project.  This position’s success is dependent on open lines of communication between team members and departments, strong attention to detail, consistent follow-up, the ability to schedule multiple activities and a desire to exceed expectations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Client management
  • Aid in the development and strategy of campaigns
  • Lead promotional efforts
  • Execute direct mail, email deployments and print projects
  • Prepare creative briefs
  • Prepare and schedule media buys
  • Develop marketing plans and project proposals
  • Manage client expenditures (costs and invoices)
  • Maintain project status reports
  • Manage the coordination and relationship of outside media vendors
  • Proof artwork and copy prior to release at each stage
  • Pull data and prepare creative materials for client presentations
  • Serve as primary client contact
  • Attend necessary client meetings, including some travel
  • Prepare/present client strategy
  • Prepare bids and print/distribute collateral
  • Initiate creative briefs
  • Route art/copy changes to clients
  • Invoice management
  • Manage project update timelines
 
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years marketing and account management experience
  • Previous marketing agency experience strongly preferred
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Journalism or Communications
  • Microsoft Suite Proficiency required
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects
  • Ability to travel as needed
