Description Position Title: Senior Director of Information Technology 

Job Summary: Responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions. This includes directing all IT operations to meet customer and Profit Center requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions. 


Principal Responsibilities: 
  • Provides vision and leadership for IT initiatives and functions that support the mission and business goals.
  • Hands on, people oriented technology leader focused on employee development, relationship building and hard work
  • Leads IT strategic planning efforts (aligned to company) and for all related IT programs and services for the Profit Centers
  • Develops and cultivates entrepreneurial strategic relationships with internal and external partners
  • Works with appropriate collaborators to build policies and standards needed to achieve an integrated IT environment.
  • Enhances and sustains the technology infrastructure for the company
  • Promotes a customer-service orientation within the Information Technology Department
  • Analyzes complex business needs presented by the user community and/or clients and recommending technical solutions
  • Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions
  • Understands the needs of the Profit Center in order to define the technology solutions
  • Directs and prioritizes the work load of team members and assesses where gaps exist in technology infrastructure and works to fill them
  • Directs education programs company-wide on technology solutions
  • Represents the IT function at customer review meeting when appropriate
  • Manages talent within IT, recruiting, conducting interviews and makes recommendations for new hires and or consultants.

Minimum Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or related experience required; advanced education (Masters, etc.) not required, but preferred
  • 12 years or more of experience within a leadership role in IT; preferred in a decentralized environment
  • Oversight of networking team within the technology group
  • Knowledge of Eclipse Software (Epicor) beneficial (not required)
  • Has managed the development and support of an ERP system in a multi-location and environment Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to travel 15-20% with some overnight travel required. Ability to travel throughout North America required.
