Description Reports to:     Director of Human Resources
Summary of Position:           Provides overall support to the Human Resource function and specific administrative assistance to the Director, Benefits/ HRIS Manager and Recruiting Manager.  Maintains corporate HR files, personnel records, and ensures confidentiality of HR information.  Schedules interviews, assessments, background checks, training venues, materials, presenters.  Assists with power point presentations, publications, and manual updates.  Assists with updating the company intranet for HR.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in scheduling and follow up of employment interviews and assessment procedures;
  2. Processes updates to employee handbooks, operations manual and safety procedures manual.
  3. Ensures new employee benefit packets and timely enrollments with benefit brokers/ carriers; communicates employee benefit changes as needed to assist both employees, administrators and carriers
  4. Monitors company career website to ensure and assist with updated postings.
  5. Assists with the monitoring of the ATS and ensuring timely response to candidates
  6. Assists with the coordination of position openings with the external recruiters
  7. Coordinates exit interview scheduling
  8. Maintains company organization charts and employee directory
  9. Notifies managers of performance assessment timetables
  10. Monitors the company intranet to ensure regular updates are posted
  11. Ensures federal and state posters are updated for all operating entities and corporate offices
  12. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
  • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization and follow-up skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Computer skills including Word, Excel and Power Point. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good judgment
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
  1. A bachelor's degree in a related field
  2. One – three years administrative experience
