They are looking for someone interested in taking on a vital role as a Nuclear Energy Worker, and acting as both a client ambassador for the company, and troubleshooting industrial technical equipment.

The role and responsibilities:

The Service Technician will be responsible for performing installation, maintenance and repair of Industrial Irradiation Division products worldwide. You will organize, direct and perform radioactive source transfer for products in the field. You will participate in the assembly and testing of irradiator equipment as required. You will prepare records and reports of equipment performance and make recommendation for enhancements/corrective actions.  Some of the activities involve bending and lifting heavy material (equipment and modules of 35-50 lbs), the ability to work around tight areas as well as the ability to climb up and down, and work off ladders.

Requirements for success:
  • 3 year technologist diploma, preferably from an electrical, manufacturing, or mechanical discipline
  • 6 years + direct related experience, OR completion of an electrical or mechanical trade apprenticeship of any variety
  • You have a healthy respect for safety regulations
  • You possess good business acumen and are comfortable making independent decisions and recommendations to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • You possess good analytical skills, especially to trouble shoot and service technical equipment
  • Significant global travel up to 160 days per year is an expectation
