Job Title Senior SAP FICO Analyst
Location Fort Washington,  PA 19034
Other Location
Description The Senior SAP FICO Analyst will work with Business and Information Technology teams and consulting support to insure successful implementation of SAP FICO (ECC 6.0) and related integration.  This person will be part of the IT Applications team and will support business transformation leveraging SAP and participation in the implementation of and IT enablement business process execution and management. This position will also mentor and provide cross training for other team members. Knowledge of MM, PP and SD integration is required.
 
The role will also support the company’s growth plans and resulting follow-up projects.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned by supervisor or management.
  • Support SAP systems upgrades and life cycle management
  • Development of standards and procedures
  • Cross train other associates where / when appropriate
  • Interacts with IT and non-information technology business areas to help establish direction, improve customer service, reduce cost or provide for a competitive advantage through IT system deployment.
  • Evaluate and establish change initiatives to meet business/technical needs.
  • May lead or direct the work of other team members
  • Coordinate testing, troubleshoot complex business and technical problems
  • In a post-production environment, the role calls for FICO support.
 
 
 
Qualifications (include Education and specific Experience)
  • 10 + years finance and SAP FICO experience (IT and / or business) is required
  • 5+ years of SAP FICO experience with an emphasis on design, configuration and troubleshooting
  • Configuration and testing of FI/CO modules; GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Cost Center Accounting (CO-CCA), Internal Orders and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). Product costing (CO-PC) and Special purpose Ledger.
  • Integration of FI with MM, PP, SD, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash and Product Costing business processes
  • LIFO and FIFO Accounting
  • Transfer Prices
  • Material Ledger Interfaces
  • MM/SD Interfaces (inventory valuation / NRV process)
  • Bank interfaces (lockbox/EDI/International wire)
  • Special purpose ledger
  • Profitability Analysis
  • Product costing
  • US finance experience
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual close activities
  • Experience with at least 3 full life cycle SAP FICO implementations
  • Willingness and ability to drive implementations and also provide incremental process improvement and support
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 
Education and Experience                                                                          
Bachelors degree is required. CPA is a plus.
 
Computer Skills                         
  • SAP certification desired.
  • Experience working in moderate to high transaction volume environments
