Job Title: IT Specialist
 
Summary: The IT Specialist will perform and create processes for supporting remote networks and imaging devices. Strong customer service related communication skills and TCP/IP background a must. To succeed in this position he/she must be proficient in network traffic & bandwidth utilization, IP Cameras setup and network routing configuration. This position is responsible for new client set up, monthly usage reports and customer support. You will be investigating and resolving customer inquiries, along with working with the sales team to provide the customer with the highest level of support and training.
 
Required Qualifications:
 
  • Associates degree or higher
  • 2+ years of IT support experience
  • Experience with VMware is a MUST
  • Proficient in network traffic & bandwidth utilization, and network routing configuration
  • Advanced routing, Subnet Masks, Port Forwarding, and TCP/IP knowledge and experience
  • Expert with the popular web browsers (IE, Mozilla Firefox, Chrome and Safari)
  • Basic Windows, Networking, Subnet Masks, Port Forwarding, and advanced TCP/IP knowledge and experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of  Excel, PowerPoint and Photoshop Software
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
  • Great Customer Service skills and Communication- Will be Investigating and resolving customer inquiries, along with working with the sales team to provide the customer with the highest level of support and training.
  • Team player attitude; solid positive energy; alignment with core values of the Company’s business model.
  • Ability to exercise a high degree of professionalism and deliver results against timelines both individually and through your team.
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and presentation
 
Desired Qualifications
 
  • Experience working with IP camera setup, E-Newsletters, SEO and Social Media is a plus
  • Ability to speak Portuguese is a plus
