Job Title Customer Service IT Help Desk - Tier 1

Description Job Summary

This position is responsible for all remote attendee validations, by ensuring each customer has completed a successful system test on their PC, as well as a full orientation to the remote interface.  Any troubleshooting and assistance is completed prior to their course attendance, ensuring a quality and successful course experience for each remote attendee.


Responsibilities:
 
  • Provide assistance regarding technical requirements for setup and/or running of Learning Tree International courses employing AnyWare to attendees.
  • Provide customer support and technical assistance to remote learners.
  • Ensure that all customer phone calls requesting assistance or information are immediately answered, that problems are referred to the appropriate individual(s) by trouble ticket and that individual(s) designated take prompt action.
  • Assist with calling attendees prior to course start to ensure complete validation for upcoming event.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications and Skills:
 
  • Minimum of high school diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with VMWare and Adobe Acrobat Connect is highly desirable.
  • Experience as a technician or help desk position, desirable.
  • Excellent customer service skills required. Candidate must be capable of working with minimal supervision and demonstrate superior team skills.
  • This person must be able to perform in a fast paced, high volume environment.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications are needed.
