Fantastic opportunity as Account Executive with one of the world’s largest Global Freight Forwarders!

Our client, began operating in the United States in Miami, Florida in 1935. Today, the network encompasses more than 75 full service offices, including ten distribution centers supported by one of the most powerful international air, ocean and brokerage networks in the industry.
Over the past few years, our client has significantly expanded its customs brokerage capabilities, adding valuable services to it’s multi-modal transportation portfolio, visibility in the critical U.S.-Canada-Mexico cross-border market. There are 20 dedicated customs brokerage operations across the continent with expanded services for duty drawback as well as consulting services.

The Account Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling clients the full suite of products/services via the Clients sales office or at the customer’s place of business, to customers who utilize any or all transportation methods for the movement of their products. 
Qualified candidates must develop relationships with NEW clients by prospecting, qualifying, targeting and also by responding to business development leads.
Qualified candidates must also be able to effectively identify and provide solutions for the transportation needs of the customers and prospects as well as maintaining a high level of customer service with its existing portfolio of business.  This includes Monitoring and reviewing customer sales activity and makes adjustments to processes and strategies as needed.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

·         Develops and maintains long term strategic relationships with existing customers and prospects.
·         Leads direct sale of clients services within an assigned geographic territory, generating profitable and
          sales on new and target accounts.
·         Qualifies customers and prospects to determine strategic plans and service requirements.
·         Identifies business opportunities, assesses customer needs and matches up clients services to these
          needs to generate new business.
·         Collaborates with local and regional management to drive new opportunities and get support to bring
          new business onboard.
·         Investigates all sales leads as provided by the Corporate.
·         Collaborates with other sales channels (GCS, MNC, Product Sales, Trade Lane Sales) to qualify and
          and pursue new opportunities.
·         Create and present formal presentations representing the Client and its service capabilities. 
·         Coordinates and assists with customer implementation and on-going maintenance, including the
          coordination of customer training.
·         Quotes prices and credit terms for business obtained.
·         Keeps activities in clients CRM up to date and accurate.
·         Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expenses accounts up to date.

Summary of Knowledge, Skills, and Education

·         Bachelor Degree from a four-year college/university; or 3-5 years related experience
          and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
·         Mandatory 2-5 years of air/ocean freight forwarding sales and international logistics
·         Proven sales territory success, negotiation, persuasion and presentation skills.
·         Must be innovative, intuitive, responsive, organized and analytical.
·         Must possess solid sales fundamentals to include presentation skills, account analysis,
          development and sales prospecting.
·         Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required. 
·         Proven sales territory success, negotiation, persuasion and presentation skills.  
·         Hunter mentality.
·         Team oriented.
·         Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of international freight forwarding
          operations and warehousing/distribution required.
·         Must demonstrate working knowledge of accounting, logistics, pricing and informational
