What you’ll do
As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the eyes and ears of what our customers are saying. Yes you’ll answer phone calls and emails and deal with the occasional angry customer, but you will have real input on how the customer service organization runs and evolves.  If you can do the nitty gritty work with our customers, you can position yourself for bigger and better opportunities within customer service and beyond.
 
In this role, you’ll communicate directly with passengers and cab drivers and guide them through the experience of how our dispatch application and mobile payments platforms work. You’ll respond quickly to customer inquiries and proactively address problems before customers even contact us.
 
Your smooth talking skills and informative email responses will keep customers happy and diffuse any irate customers.  Your track record in a call center or facing off with customers will help you get the necessary information for a revolutionary travel and transportation service to everyone you talk to, whether it’s the newly hired cab driver or a VIP passenger using our new app.
 
What it takes:
·         A people person that is very patient and comfortable with ambiguity
·         Comfortable training customers over the phone
·         Cultural sensitivity
·         Quick learner
·         Exceptional communication skills across diverse audiences
·         Tech-savvy with high familiarity with how smartphone apps work (iOS and Android)
·         College degree preferred
·         1-3 years relevant experience in a customer service role
·         Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) skills
·         Foreign language skills including: Spanish, Creole, Arabic or derivative “slangs” of any of these are preferred
