Account Manager / Business Development Representative 
In this vital role, your charisma and energetic personality will assist you in actively prospecting for new clients while building a rapport with current customers by ensuring their satisfaction to maximize profitability. We will rely on your tact, sensitivity and professionalism to increase sales revenue through new and existing clients in your assigned area by performing the following responsibilities:
  • Generate outside sales to ensure meeting monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals; marketing activities of the franchise are designed to help you achieve these revenue goals
  • Support the company mission as well as value for our clients 
  • Maintain continuous contact with current and prospective customers
  • Maintain personal productivity and quality standards so we continue to provide excellent service to our customers
  • Communicate effectively by informing and updating the owner and the Recovery Technician regarding sales and client objectives to ensure goals are met
  • Collect, present and follow-up on all proposal data
  • Participate as a key team player by supporting the owner as needed
  • Prepare daily call plans to adequately cover territory, research prospects and address all follow-up activities as needed
  • Support efforts to consistently grow the base of referral sources
  • Actively manage short- and long-term leads from external referral sources to qualify prospects and advance them through the sales pipeline
  • Manage marketing data using applicable sales management systems or tools (e.g., database and time management systems) to maximize efficiency and analyze marketing activity on a weekly basis
  • Effectively convey services to customers by utilizing a superior understanding of the customer’s needs while creating an image of quality and integrity
  • Conduct on-site and community-based presentations, seminars and education that promote the image of our company as a leader in refrigerant recovery services
  • Perform market assessments, competitor analyses and pricing strategies
  • Draw conclusions and provide reports from data on the competitive environment and provide advice to the Rapid Recovery Market Team Leader
  • Investigate and resolve customer problems and complaints
  • Understand and comply with the sales systems and process in place
  • Schedule recovery jobs and supervise a full-time Recovery Technician
  • Provide recovery services for demonstration purposes and as back up to Recovery Technicians
 
Qualifications:
  • College degree preferred, but not required
  • Basic computer skills needed including ability to conduct Internet searches, update Salesforce database and utilize Google Apps, MS Word and Excel 
  • Strong communication and math skills
  • Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills with a sales aptitude
  • Ability to identify and meet customers’ needs and requirements
  • Self-starter and a problem solver
  • Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license with a clean, insurable driving record; several hours per day may be spent operating a motor vehicle
  • Basic mechanical ability to serve as back up for Recovery Technician(s)
  • Ability to adapt to variable work environments, both indoors and out in varying conditions including customer facilities
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times to represent the Rapid Recovery image
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, subject to numerous schedule and priority changes with short notice
