Career Evolutions is searching for an experienced Back End Web Developer for a fast-growing manufacturing global company. This full-time direct-hire role will be based in the headquarter in North Scottsdale, AZ with salary up to $75,000 DOE (depending on experience) plus an exceptional benefit package.
You will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining web sites and applications. You should be flexible and self-motivated as well as have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must also be detailed oriented and have the ability to leverage the latest web technologies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the creation and ongoing maintenance of web sites and applications based primarily on PHP and JavaScript · Develop and manage MySQL databases · Continuously keep abreast of current and emerging web and mobile trends, technologies, and best practices · Understand the impact of usability in creating a good experience for users · Ability to manage multiple projects from inception to completion. · Provide support for other areas of marketing as needed
Requirements: · 3-5 years of experience in object-oriented PHP and MySQL · Experience with one or more MVC PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter, Laravel, or Symfony is REQUIRED · Proven proficiency in JavaScript and jQuery; Backbone / Angular / Ember or similar experience preferred · Ability to write HTML/HTML5 and CSS as needed · Understanding of MySQL database design · Experience with version control, Git preferred
Bonus skills:
· Ruby on Rails or C# / .NET MVC experience · PHP Unit testing · Linux server administration · Familiarity with Scrum methodology
