Description Summary:

Responsible for marketing strategy and implementation, sales, and marketing activities related to the services provided by the Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, and Radiology departments.

  • Develops promotional campaigns and detailed marketing plans for the department including objectives, assist in forecast assumptions, strategies, tactics and spending plans, and assumes responsibility for execution of those plans
  • Researches and executes lead generation programs for new business
  • Develops and executes programs for retention of existing business
  • Implement launch strategies
  • Develops and produces effective written marketing materials: fliers, mailers, directories, event calendars, brochures, company and product fact sheets, or other promotional products
  • Builds and fosters relationships with local employers, medical vendors, area health and business councils, Chamber of Commerce, and GMG staff
  • Uses a creative “outside the box” marketing approach in promoting Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care and Radiology services
  • Assists in fulfilling GMG goals and expectations for continued growth
  • Assists with general marketing efforts to promote Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care and Radiology facilities, programs and services to all audiences as needed
  • Assists with scheduling and participation in health fairs and community events, as well as GMG educational events to promote key services and programs
  • Assists in the development and management of budgets associated with department marketing activities.
  • Schedules and conducts tours of the clinic for potential clients as well as current clients
  • Evaluates and develops social media and web site strategy
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred; years of experience may be substituted for degree
  • 3+ yrs marketing experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Familiarity with current marketing concepts, practices, and procedures
  • General knowledge of Occupation Medicine and Radiology services
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet
  • Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to communicate with vendors and physicians
  • Excellent customer service skills

  • High level of professionalism, adhering to strict confidentiality standards
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Abillity and means to travel on a flexible schedule; proof of liability and property damage insurance on a vehicle used is required
  • Fast paced clinical setting
  • Exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, etc.
  • Able to work efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to sit, stand, stoop, kneel, reach, crouch, bend, and walk for extended periods of time
  • Manual dexterity
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally, may assist with lifting patients
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
Required Skills Three years of marketing experience. Healthcare experience highly preferred.
