Chapter Communication Specialist
 
We are seeking an individual who understands outstanding customer service is what creates and maintains organizational growth. We will rely on your professional demeanor and exceptional communication skills to manage communications, support and services for assigned chapters. You will also prepare periodic and monthly reports, process membership payments and participate in the phone rotation.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Represent IFMA to assigned chapters as the main go-to contact
  • Oversee major chapter relations projects including updating chapter support resources and create and maintain online chapter leader tools
  • Maintain regular contact with chapter leaders to offer support, advice and assistance in succession planning; membership growth, development and retention; chapter programming; and other activities and benefits
  • Process chapter re-certifications and assist with discrepancies
  • Identify critical issues for chapter operations and facilitate monthly or bi-monthly chapter leader/administrator conference calls on various topics.
  • Coordinate online community activity for chapter presidents, member chairs and education/program chairs
  • Represent IFMA at World Workplace and other opportunities with a focus on membership recruitment, retention efforts or chapter support
  • Provide backup assistance to other membership and Member Service staff

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but would consider someone in pursuit of their Bachelor's
  • Excellent email and phone communication skills
  • Highly responsive and motivated to provide exceptional service
  • Exceptional research and follow through skills
  • Ability to lead and/or participate in webinars and video conferences
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
