Client is seeking a Director of Field Sales to manage our North American Sales Team. You will lead an energetic team of Field Sales Executives, and Business Development Representatives that work with enterprise level access, management, support and collaboration products. You will be responsible for applying a thorough understanding of our client’s products to drive sales methodology, processes, and pipeline management. You must have a solid track record of successful management of teams, forecasts and sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage performance metrics and sales best practices for team members -successfully leading the team to sales quota attainment
•Lead a team responsible for new account acquisition and provide guidance for competing, negotiating and closing sales
•Develop and lead sales strategies to further penetrate and grow existing customer base
•Provide a consultative sales approach through an extended sales cycle to consistently meet or exceed quota
•Work with the sales reps to develop quarterly and annual territory management plans and goals focused on achieving assigned sales targets 
•Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of the team 


•5+ years of proven success managing a field sales team in enterprise software environment 
•Dynamic strategic thinker and problem-solver 
•Solid go-to-market instincts to feed information back from the field to marketing, product marketing and sales leadership
•Experience working in a rapidly changing dynamic environment
•Demonstrated record of success communicating effectively via telephone and in person with customers and successful track record of meeting and/or exceeding quota
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Internet
•Proficiency with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably
•Demonstrated ability to coach others, lead by example and work collaboratively 
•Strong verbal and written communication skills 
•Good work ethic, desire to learn and be challenged, self driven and motivated 
•Business related BS degree/MBA preferred but not required
Required Skills

Must have experience managing field sales teams with revenue of at least $20 million and ten or more reps.
