Field Technician
 
Responsibilities:
Installs, tests, troubleshoots and repairs home and commercial alarm systems, fire alarms, access systems, and CCTV surveillance systems. Services products and equipment in assigned territory and performs preventive maintenance and modifications as needed at customer locations.
 
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience with installation and service experience of intrustion alarm equipment
  • Knowledge of a variety of electronic security systems (burglar alarm systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, CCTV systems, video systems, camera systems, intercoms, remote video surveillance, video monitoring, and a variety of security accessories.)
  • Ability to read and diagnose schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Ability to analyze and repair electronics and components
  • An Associate degree and or trade school training in electronics or related field is desirable
  • Some weekend work is required
  • Excellent customer service skills are a must
  • Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Screening, Drug Testing and posses a Clean Driving Record
