Responsibilities • Work with the Sales Engineering department to determine economic feasibility of individual projects and proposal generation;
• Visit existing customers to assess their needs and provide them with customized account management for telephone, cable, data and/or related network services (i.e.: VPN, Private Lines, DIA, etc.);
• Solicit prospective and existing commercial clients to promote increased or economical use of communication services;
• Contact building owners and developers of new construction of commercial properties to propose an exclusive contract with Company to provide communication needs;
• Explain service usage, using brochures and demonstrating services with customer's CPE, or features of IP Centrex, if applicable;
• Complaint resolution of service, bill and implementation issues to the mutual benefit of the customer and company;
• Review and refer for bidding RFPs for metro construction projects by commercial, government, institutional or school district entities;
• Comprehensive understanding of voice and data services/products with the ability to recognize sales opportunities and explain applicable service offerings;
• Other duties upon request.
Requirements • Three (3) or more years of experience in a commercial telecommunications and/or data services sales environment;
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, along with superb listening and observation skills;
• Proven experience building referral networks and ability to generate leads/prospect;
• Prior experience managing a budget and the ability to analyze a commercial customer's total communications requirements for voice and data from viewing their operations, equipment and records are required;
• Superior customer-focused attitude and excellent relationship building skills.
