Special Loans Analyst
 
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to update field data in the servicing system for Loan Modifications, ARM loans, SCRA adjustments, Assumptions, and other changes as required. Additional responsibilities will include the following duties:
 

  • Process system changes for Loan Modifications.
  • Populate ARM indices into the servicing system.
  • Run scheduled ARM changes, generate notices, and ensure payment changes are correctly updated.
  • Audit loan information in system against what is on the loan documents, using ARM Riders and Notes.
  • Perform ARM loan audits to ensure timely completion, resolve exceptions found and process system corrections within the ARM Loan Workstation.
  • Review monthly DMDC report for loans protected under the SCRA, audit the loan history from the active duty date, process system changes using the Military Service Relief Workstation within MSP, and audit reports monthly to ensure accurate information.
  • Process Assumptions, coordinate the receipt of an assumption credit package with Mortgage Specialist, prepare package for approval by senior management/PMI/Investor and process system changes as required.
  • Update policies and procedures as needed.

 
Requirements:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.  Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information with co-workers, vendors and management.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
  • Knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheets, E-Mail, database software and SQL, Crystal, PowerPoint, Access and Excel software(s).
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
