Description At Loftin Equipment, we have been in the business of selling and servicing generators, engines, pumps and related outdoor power and commercial equipment since 1977. Our customers include Industrial Facilities, Manufacturing Facilities, Hospital and Healthcare Facilities, Data Centers, Retail Centers and Municipalities.
 
Our corporate office is located in Phoenix, AZ, with seven branches offering service, sales, rentals and parts in Las Vegas, NV, Austin, TX, Dallas, TX, Houston, TX, San Antonio, TX, San Bernardino, CA, and Lakeside, CA. We also have a network of dealers that allow us to provide service and support throughout the states of Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas.

Service Sales Representative
 
We are seeking a charismatic and detail oriented individual for our Phoenix office to provide day-to-day sales, on-going administrative support and customer relations as it pertains to power generation preventive maintenance agreements, extended warranties and corrective generator repairs for our clients. You will support and expand overall service and parts sales for the Service Department and work directly for the Service Department Manager and with the Service Administrative staff. Territory includes Arizona, Southern Nevada, and New Mexico.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Contact new potential power generation service customers
  • Survey equipment onsite in order to prepare preventive and/or corrective maintenance quotes
  • Prepare preventive maintenance agreements, corrective service quotes and extended warranty quotes and provide to customers
  • Follow-up with customers on all quotes provided in order to secure the business
  • Track all quote activity and provide a weekly sales call report to management
  • Upon receipt of approved quote, enter all quote information into appropriate tracking systems for execution by the Service Department
  • Work with Service Sales Administrative personnel to renew preventive maintenance agreements upon end of the agreement term
  • Work with Service Administration and Parts department to register and invoice for extended warranties sold
  • Participate in regional Sales Blitz events as required
  • Attend all Sales meetings, conference calls and training sessions as required
  • Assist with customer support for all Service customers as requested by the Service Manager including problem resolution, financial collection and information requests
  • Provide initial customer equipment orientation after the sale of new power generation equipment
 
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate will possess the following abilities, attributes, experience and skills:
  • Associate’s degree or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
