Description SUMMARY

Performs routine work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria when working with clients or customers.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Counsels customers on technical issues via visits, telephone, or e-mail.
  • Possesses some knowledge of production line manufacturing issues.
  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of test equipment and tests commonly used by ANADIGICS or its clients.
  • Characterizes devices for data sheets and customer information.
  • Capable of design, implementation, and test of circuits utilizing LNA’s, PLL’s, mixers, and filters.
  • Works in the lab to find common/easily implementable solutions to problems for customers and generates application notes based on findings.
  • Interfaces with QA/Engineering/Manufacturing and Sales department personnel.
  • Travels to customer’s location to assist in the design efforts of getting new devices designed into their end product.
  • Works at the customer’s facility (manufacturing site) and suggests possible solutions/experiments to solve problems.
  • Requires immediate action/problem solving skills.
 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises and trains technicians.
  
LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
 
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.  Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
 
REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Required Skills EDUATION AND EXPERIENCE

BS and 4-7 years experience
MS and 2+ years experience
Good interpersonal skills/manners
Some analog circuit design experience using linear CAD tools such as MMICAD or ADS desired.
Ability to think clearly and quickly – suggest possible solutions/experiments.
Minimum of 5 years of RF microwave design (component level) experience.
