Novus Origo is seeking a Senior Technical Business Development Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing the key capture strategies required to secure opportunities. This position will be located in the San Francisco, CA area.
The Novus Origo Senior Technical Business Development Manager will be responsible for the orchestration of sale strategies, the development of technical and management approaches, and the formulation of highly competitive responses to opportunities within our consulting service areas. The Senior Technical Business Development Manager will drive the opportunity from the capture decision to contract award, and will also be responsible for closing deals on targeted opportunities for new and existing business opportunities.

|Required Skills||To be considered for this position, candidates must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
-A "Hunter" based mentality, with a proven ability to research, seek out and develop new business opportunities. New client prospecting will be a major portion of the position.
-At least 2-4 years of proven sales success selling project or solution based IT consulting services.
-The ability to develop, implement and manage a strategic sales strategy.
-Perform business development, including developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers at key clients, building teaming relationships, managing expectation, organizing and leading capture teams, participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process, and contributing to proposal pricing strategy.
-Ability to multi-task and work both independently and in teams within tight time frames to meet multiple deadlines and deliver solutions at both the strategic and tactical levels.
-The ability to recruit, select, train, direct, motivate, support, develop a High Performance Sales Team.
-Demonstrated experience in business development for one or more of the following service areas: Program & Project Management, and Strategic Consulting in the areas of; Information Technology, Software Development, Systems & Applications Integration, and Process Management & Re-engineering.
Additional Desired Skills:
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and four (4+) years of experience with a services consulting firm.
-Proactively identify and obtain opportunities, intelligence and other assets in the development of contract awards.
-Perform strategic capture planning and proposal leadership, including coordinating and managing all proposal activities for a given solicitation.
-Develop and manage proposal outline, integrate win themes and discriminators, craft solutions & summaries, create success stories, and compliance matrices in order to provide compliant and compelling proposal responses.
-Conceptualize, develop and integrate content to convey concepts and proposed solutions.
-Schedule, conduct and/or participate in proposal reviews and kick-offs.
-Prepare briefings for sales and contract management including the development and delivery of progress reports as needed.
-Demonstrate a willingness to work hard to achieve the highest quality results.
