Mid-level Help Desk Technician

Utilizing your customer service and technology skills, we will expect you to respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone or electronically, as well as perform the following duties:
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues in a timely fashion
  • Achieve problem resolution
  • Advise clients of appropriate action
  • Log all help desk interactions and redirect problems to appropriate resource
  • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates
  • Set up, configure and support client networks
  • Develop and maintain client systems, applications, security and network configurations
  • Troubleshoot network performance issues
  • Recommend upgrades, patches and new applications and equipment
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users
  • Rely on extensive experience and judgment to help plan and accomplish goals
  • Provide consultation on complex projects as a top level contributor/specialist



We are seeking a high energy professional who possess a positive attitude as well as the following skills and experience:

  • High School or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of technical help desk experience preferred
  • Wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Candidate may be based at Lake Success or remote offices.
