Be a part in developing the innovative solutions and advanced technologies required for the next generation of software systems. Aveshka is providing our customer with industry and research expertise in leading edge software systems, cloud engineering, large scale distributed computing, network security, wireless, and other progressive technologies. Not looking at the technologies of today but looking at the technologies that are five to seven years out. A successful candidate will be knowledgeable of new innovations in this field, and information about promising research directions being pursued in academia, commercial labs, and other government labs.
Responsibilities:- Manage software life cycle (requirements, design, develop, test, validate, deploy)
- Develop software using the following technologies:
- Semantic Web Technologies
- RDF
- Serialization standards (RDF/SML, N3, RDFa, etc.);
- Ontological standards (RDFS, OWL, OWL 2);
- Modeling of real-world data including alignment mapping and rule languages such as SWRL (Semantic Web Rule Language)
- Distributed JBoss deployment
- Java RDF APIs (preferably Jena)

• 5 years of Java development
• 2 years’ experience with Unix or Linux
Education:
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree
