The Building Inspector is responsible for performing technical inspection work for the day-to-day completion of construction in accordance with Florida Building Code. The primary location of the work will be in SW Florida (Naples).

 

REQUIREMENTS:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

 

Drives to job sites and performs inspections for compliance with Florida Building Code.

 

Submit timely reports of findings, conclusions, and/or recommendations, as assigned.

 

Maintain accurate, complete, and current records.

 

Exercise tact, courtesy and professionalism, when interfacing with others.

 

Complete daily time and labor reports in accordance with company policy.

 

Oversee maintenance of company vehicle (take in to shop for routine maintenance including oil changes, tire pressure, fluid levels, etc).

 

Maintain timely communication throughout each workday, via cell phone and/or email.

 

Attend meetings, as assigned.

 

Other duties as assigned.
