Our client is experiencing significant growth and is seeking a talented, passion-driven individual to broaden the talent and capacity of their development team.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  •  Build, implement and support integrations with client EMR/EHR/PMS systems utilizing HL7, API, DB, etc. with Mirth Connect
  •  Build and support products through the entire lifecycle of analysis, design, coding, testing and support
  •  Design, implement and support high quality and innovative software solutions that exceed customer expectations
  •  Author and execute unit and system level testing for applications
  •  Communicate with customers to ensure successful knowledge share and overall integration 

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
 
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record building high quality, scalable web applications and APIs. Candidates must be creative, organized and analytical as well as adept at working in a team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years hands on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL
  • 2+ years hands on experience with Java and Javascript
  • 2+ years hands on experience with HL7 (expertise in ADT and SIU is preferred)
  • Experience integrating with the following vendors:
  • EPIC, Allscripts, GE (Centricity), NextGen, AthenaHealth, eClinicalWorks, McKesson, Cerner
  • Demonstrated experience with implementing and maintaining a Mirth Connect installation
  • Experience with REST based API development with XML/JSON
  • Experience developing web applications utilizing C#, ASP.NET, MVC, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, HTML
  • Ability to work with peers in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
  • Strong listening, detail-oriented thinking, and creative problem solving skills
  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment
