UI/UX Designer/Developer
Summary:
Our client is looking for a user experience designer to join their fast-growing product development team. As a UI/UX designer, you will play an integral role in defining and designing the next generation of products that affect the lives of millions of people on a daily basis. You will work within a highly entrepreneurial and collaborative team to create web & mobile apps that improve how people connect and communicate.
Essential Functions:- Collaborating with others to brainstorm, sketch, and wireframe concepts that advance product goals
- Questioning and simplifying complex industry assumptions
- Distilling complex workflows into simple user interactions
- Working with our UX research team to understand users and what they want
- Creating visual workflows, wireframes, and prototypes
- Presenting prototypes to end users, receiving feedback, and revising deliverables
- Communicating wireframes and design requirements to user interface designers
- Balancing multiple project deliverables and communicating progress to project owners
- Sharing your insights on how to refine and improve our design process
- Maintaining our high standards of visual excellence
- Always learning
- Strong user interface design portfolio demonstrating responsive, mobile-first and user-centric design principles
- 3-5 years of professional UX design experience
- Strong understanding of user-centric design principles
- HTML, CSS, and JS skills
- Some experience with AngularJS or Node.js
