Vice President of Marketing; Large Global Medical company manufacturing the leading endoscopic imaging devices and solutions within the acute care medical industry. Their medical industry recognized sales and marketing strength is based upon their leading edge R&D and manufacturing investments.  They are seeking a successful and experienced medical device marketing executive  They are looking for an experienced high level Medical Marketing person who has strong Downstream Marketing background within the medical device sector.  It is best if experience involves marketing products into the Ambulatory Surgical Centers or Acute Care setting or similar call points and understanding the dynamics of IDN's and GPO's to strategically market products, as well as fostering the needed customer, clinical and sales partner relationships.

This position will have a small team of direct report product managers and a marketing communications person. Strong leadership is embraced throughout the organization.  The postion requires strategic thinking, creativity and through knowledge in all areas of medical device marketing, including marketing strategy and how to successfully launch new products. 

 This is a direct report position to the President of the company.  Only those with the required background as outlined with the job requirements will be considered.
 
 
Position Location and Coverage:
  • Candidate must live within area of Newark NJ and BEST if near the Springvalley,  NJ area.
  • USA, Canada and Latin America responsibilities 
  • Corporate Office based position 
  • Occasional travel
Compensation:
  • Salary up to $200,000 with a year end variable bonus of 30% (Up to $260,000 maxed total potential)
  • All Reimbursed Travel and Entertainment

CAREER TIPS:
Required Skills

*BA or BS Degree
*MBA or Masters degree equivalent
*MUST HAVE STRONG Downstream USA marketing experience
*MUST HAVE Medical Device or Medical Product marketing experience into the ambulatory surgical centers or acute care arena or related marketplace.
*Deep medical device background (prefer at least 15 years of industry experience with MARKETING experience).
*Deep brand and strategy expertise
*Management experience with demonstrated ability to motivate, develop and lead a team.
*Leadership experience with direct report employees.

Optional Skills

*Gastroenterology, endoscopy or pulmonary experience a big PLUS, but NOT mandatory.
