UX/UI Software Engineer – Advanced or Senior – Anticipated contract length: up to 6 months

The UX/UI Software Engineer is a hands-on developer specializing in design and implementation of user interfaces for web applications.  The primary responsibilities focus around the implementation of the web UI of an alpha/proof of concept product; the Engineer will also lead and contribute to rapidly-changing redesigns and enhancement based on customer feedback.

MINIMUM QUALFICATIONS

·         4 years of user experience design for software, web applications

·         4 years hands-on experience as an Interaction or User Experience Designer

·         A sound understanding of the fundamentals of design

·         Proficiency in creating wireframes, visual comps, and rapid design prototypes

·         Strong familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and Axure RP (or equivalent toolsets acceptable to JHA)

·         Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (bootstrap, angularjs) and web UI fundamentals with capability of creating clean/intuitive presentation layer for web applications
