- Skills
- Basic Unix Admin skills (user management, package management, filesystem [LVM], file permissions, performance troubleshooting)
- Strong RHEL (RedHat Ent Linux) a must
- AIX is a HUGE plus (PowerVM, HMC, VIO, NIM)
- Shell Scripting (BASH, KSH, Perl, Python)
- System Deployments
- Documentation and Skills Transfer – Position will be responsible for documenting procedures to address frequent requests and to train emerging Tier1/2 helpdesk.
- Virtualization – VMWare (INTEL), PowerVM and VIO (IBM Power Systems)
- Windows Server and Active Directory support is a bonus
- Basic Unix Admin skills (user management, package management, filesystem [LVM], file permissions, performance troubleshooting)
