Title: IS Senior Solutions Architect
Job Description:
Our Client is focused on business driven architecture to enable innovative web product development across channels. Our online product suite is used daily by over 10 million users to securely manage financial transactions and information regardless of the digital channel they are leveraging. Our architecture strategy and roadmap are critical to delivering the best solutions and highest service levels to our customers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- 5 or more years of professional architect experience in a .NET/C# environment.
- Extensive understanding of IT and an experience in multiple large complex systems with an ability to apply that knowledge at a strategic level influencing technology solutions that match business goals and objectives.
- Must have very strong OOP skills and UML experience.
- 2 or more years of experience in the financial services or eCommerce industry.
- Large-scale enterprise level development projects with integration and services orchestration.
- Experience with multiple development methodologies including Agile/SCRUM.
- Test Driven Development, Unit testing and mocking frameworks.
- AS/400 or iSeries experience is a plus.
- Experience working with MVC, WCF, LINQ, T-SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, Angular, and Web Sockets.
- Experience with formal architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation and communications skills to effectively communicate with and make recommendations to management and internal and external service partners.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and/or university (Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Human Factors, Interaction Design, or related field).
- Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions quickly and leverage your communication abilities to implement them.
- Passionate self-starter who can be innovative, detailed-oriented and an enthusiastic team player.
- You have a capability to think strategically, research new trends, and apply them to the our Clients environment.
- Will be required to demonstrate outstanding customer focus and customer service.
- Quickly acquire knowledge of complex products and systems within our Client's product portfolio.
- Produce SADDs, technical specifications and designs from analysis for core and common business and technical application architecture components and systems.
- Mentoring of developers on best practices, and secure coding.
- Translate business portfolio strategies into current and future state architecture roadmaps and blueprints.
- Translate business and technical requirements into extensible, scalable and maintainable applications.
- Enforce best-practice patterns and coding standards for existing or new code base.
- Lead cross-business unit team to design and support a service-oriented application architecture for information systems.
- Partnering with other technology groups to set, document, and implement standards, develop and implement processes.
- Researching and assessing new technology.
- Participation in enterprise governance and enterprise initiatives and activities.
