BA MANAGER
 
The primary responsibility of this position is to lead a team of Business Analysts, and manage the ongoing requirements gathering, documentation, maintenance, UAT, etc., and support the Development and QA teams of critical Revenue Cycle and Operations systems. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Provide managerial leadership to the team. 
  • Understand the dialysis business processes and all our systems that support the business. 
  • Collaborate with business users and other IT teams to design, develop and deploy the best solutions to ensure high level of customer service. 
  • Establish team goals in line with departmental objectives. Responsible for successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. 
  • Develop and establish departmental standards and procedures. Assures team members adhere to the defined standards, estimation guidelines and best practices. 
  • Accountable for completing the requirements deliverables on schedule, within budget and within the quality metrics defined 
  • Help in Risk and Issue Management on the project, process or team 
  • Prioritize, plan and coordinate activities across various initiatives. 
  • Assign and monitor work of team members while providing analytical and technical direction. 
  • Track progress of projects and maintenance activities and report to upper management. 
  • Management/administrative tasks such as hiring, termination and performance evaluation. 
  • Motivate and mentor team members for improving skills and taking on additional responsibilities. 
  • Celebrate successes and create a positive, fun-filled work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration.
  • 10+ years of SDLC experience with 5+ years in managerial / lead capacity. 
  • Healthcare industry experience is highly desirable. 
  • Experience in using Requirements Management Tools like Top Team, HP ALM, etc. 
  • Expert in working with different software development methodologies like Waterfall, Agile and SCRUM. 
  • Strong project management skills. 
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills. 
  • Excellent time management, decision-making, problem solving, presentation, documentation, planning and organization skills. 
  • Billing, Collections and Cash Management systems experience is highly desired. 
  • Experience with HIPAA compliant EDI transactions (837, 835, 270, 271, 276, 277) is highly desired. 
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage within deadlines 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate technical issues clearly to audiences with varying levels of understanding 
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills 
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment and to foster a positive work environment 
  • Well developed time management, planning and organizational skills
