Medical Device Sales-Surgical Position with a  leading edge technology company who just acquired the exclusive marketing rights to a generation of "first of its kind" surgical device used in the detection of sentinel lymph node mapping and parathyroid surgery and RSL (Radioactive Seed Localization) to locate small and non-palpable breast lesions. This an established and well known company for their expertise in ex-ray sources and detectors; they are the sales leader in digital specimen radiography for medical breast biopsies.  They are dedicated to provide clinicians, surgeons, physicians, hospitals, ambulatory surgical care centers and surgery centers the most advanced, highest performing medical capital equipment and medical device products in the oncology arena and to improve the standard of care for their patients undergoing breast biopsy and related procedures. This sales position is dedicated to selling their new line of hand-held medical devices into the surgical suite. The right candidate MUST HAVE at least 2 to 3 years of experience (MINIMUM) selling surgical devices or Medical Capital Equipment or Medical Disposable Products to Surgeons within any of at least one call point: Acute Care-Operating Room, Surgery Center or Ambulatory Surgical Center or Surgery Centers.

They are seeking a surgical sales results oriented Sales Representative who likes the excitement of being a market-maker and introducing a first of it's kind product. They are looking for an aggressive TOP sales professional who is self-driven to succeed and has experience selling Operating Room Sales/Surgical Sales Products (Medical Device, Capital Equipment or Medical Disposable background desired).  Must be a top sales performer who works well in a high energy and high travel position. This is a ground floor opportunity as they build out this product line and portfolio.

Position Location and Coverage
  • Position based out of any Western USA City close to a major airport (*desired home-base cities identified as follows):
  • *Desired Base City location: Phoenix-AZ, San Diego-CA, Irvine or Los Angeles-CA, Sacramento-CA, San Jose or San Francisco-CA, Las Vegas-NV
  • Will consider those as a secondary preference location: Denver-CO, Salt Lake City-UT, Albuquerque-NM, Tucson-AZ, Portland-OR, Seattle-WA 
  • Position will be covering the Western USA TBD line of demarcation between the Eastern and Western Region Positions 
  • HIGH TRAVEL POSITION (please note that California is considered a primary travel destination)

Compensation
  • Base of $75,000 UP to $85,000 depending on experience
  • Total package base plus uncapped commission: $150,000 low to uncapped $200,000 
  • All travel expenses and etc.
  • Auto reimbursement of .57 cents per mile
  • Medical and Dental Benefits, 401K and etc.

CAREER TIPS:
Required Skills

*4 Year College Degree
*Minimum 2 to 3 years selling medical devices (preferably surgical devices, but open to anyone who can sell products within the Operating Room setting) into a surgical setting that can include Ambulatory Surgery Centers (Ambulatory Care Centers), Surgical Care Centers and/or Acute Care Operating Room (Hospital Operating Room).
*Client favors someone with Medical Device Sales background who sold surgical products, but will consider those with OR Device or Disposable sales or those with OR Capital Equipment Sales background.
*A person who embodies the spirit of being a "market maker" with a new, high quality product, from a company known within it's niche as producing superior products in the Breast Oncology marketplace.
*Has strong sales numbers hitting and exceeding sales quota's (with documentation).
*Must be energetic and driven to succeed!

$150,000.00   Annually to $200,000.00   Annually
